Fuckvella(also known as A’Fuck) – my magnum opus, a 32k+ monster I wrote in a fit of passion where Lan Wangji, I dunno, fucking flies on his sword after Wei Wuxian in CQL. Idiot. Wrote out some yummy headcanons and debuted my dumb-dumb OC, the obligatory Lan doctor every fic needs.
Hawk– the reason I crawled back out of fanfic retirement to finally make an AO3 account. I wrote it because my friend and I were chatting about whose kids the Mo Dao characters would be if they were Percy Jackson-verse demigods! It’s currently on hold, but I promise I’ll get back to it and finish. Because of its origins, this fic is very near and dear to my heart.
WWX is in a coma, and I will make you suffer about it– a really personal, almost memoir-style fic; because while diaspora Chinese fans have been writing beautiful modern AUs of WangXian, I feel a conspicuous lack of the China of my childhood. Oh, also, I hit you in the feels and A-Yuan gets raised by the Jiangs, because we deserve this scenario.

I don’t think I’d call Ursula especially salacious–she makes jokes implying that men only want sex, and she moves like a theatre major at the grocery store with their friends, but I wouldn’t describe her as horny.
I guess Frollo has a whole song about how horny he is, and both Gaston and Jafar also have “marry the heroine but in an evil way” as motives.
Ursula is comfortable in her sexuality. Frollo is horny on main but trying to deny it. Gaston and, apparently, Jafar are horny period, with Gaston being mysoginistc and Jafar having a humiliation kink

I made an alignment chart because I needed something to occupy my time. no one but frollo is on the “conflicted” bar because no other disney villain is anything but 100% comfortable with their sexuality and that’s that about that. gaston is evilly sexy, not evilly horny, because the only person gaston is horny for is gaston.

There are so many things to love about this moment:
How LWJ and WWX are so in sync that the opening of the door is perfectly timed by LWJ as paperman!WWX scampers to the door;
LWJ crouching down and reaching his hand out for WWX, although he knows that paperman!WWX can go through the door just fine; and
Paperman!WWX just flopping its entire being onto LWJ’s palm the moment it reaches LWJ.
In just a few seconds, we can glean so much about the relationship between LWJ and WWX. From LWJ, we can surmise the level of gentleness and care that he gives to WWX in everything that he does, just from the way he receives paperman!WWX at the door. From WWX, we can see how he trusts LWJ so implicitly that paperman!WWX — his entire soul! — just lets go of all tension and relaxes into LWJ’s touch.
And that is how The Untamed does show, don’t tell to great success. The show does not explicitly tell us that these two are in love, but we can see and feel it in everything that they do anyway.

okay but like, a bunch of the cultivation world assumed Wei Wuxian was in love with Jiang Yanli, right? Madame Jin’s comments clearly show that the gentry don’t see them as ‘real’ siblings, so it’d be the natural conclusion to draw given WWX’s complete and utter disdain for her fiancé. and. also. the fact WWX kinda murdered him.
but like even back in Gusu when Jiang Fengmian dissolved the engagement I bet the gossip hounds of the cultivator world were expecting him to turn around and betroth his daughter to his favourite disciple, so he could squash the rumours about him being JFM’s bastard AND get rid of the groom his wife picked out.
Basically, to everyone who has their head up their ass re: adoption, WWX and JYL are THE tragic romance of the sunshot generation; post canon someone is going to write a steamy romance novel about them and Wei Wuxian is going to summon an army of undead specifically to hunt down and destroy every single copy.
Alternative/possibly simultaneously to necromantic assault is Jiang Cheng inventing ancient fantasy Chinese IP law to sue the author for infringement. Author retaliates by renaming the main characters Yiang Jianli and Mei Ming. Now they are at war physically and legally.
